Dolcetto is one of the most diffused varieties in the Langhe region and Southern Piedmont thanks to its versatility and capability to adapt to the most diverse soil conditions. The concentrical Diano d'Alba district is located on a hilltop which is among the highest in the Langhe zone. Here, dolcetto grows untiringly in the best exposed slopes, becoming an important economic resource.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS The color is deep ruby red with typical violet reflections. Its bouquet is an explosion of vinosity and fragrance with notes of ripe fruit.
The taste captivates for its strong character, of excellent substance with an almondy finish and a structure that allows conservation for at least 3-4 years (due to the low production per hectare).
SERVICE TEMPERATURE 16 - 18 C°
GASTRONOMIC COUPLING This variety of Dolcetto goes very well with a wide range of courses, from 'carne cruda all'albese' to white meats in general, from sausages, ravioli al plin to medium-aged cheeses.
